What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient art of healing. It involves a form of acupressure which stimulates nerve endings in the hands and feet that affect other parts of the body including major organs. Reflexology has been used successfully for 100's of years to treat illness, depression, anxiety and many more symptoms.

Reflexology is similar to Acupuncture by using specific points where pressure is applied resulting in a release in tension and blockages. It is a totally non-invasive approach to support a clients health and wellness.

Reflexology is an amazingly safe form of therapy that promotes an exceptionally relaxing and pleasant experience. Reflexology attempts to normalize body functions and facilitate balance and harmony within the body. A reflexology session is known to melt the barriers of tension and lower stress. The body commonly responds to the nurturing touch of reflexology by improving blood supply throughout the body and consequently feeding healthy nerve function.

Often chronic complaints of back discomforts, tension headaches and numerous challenging foot ailments reportedly seem to vanish from reflexology sessions. This could be just what you need to melt away the stress from everyday life. Reflexology can be an invaluable tool that can rejuvenate your life.

The ancient art of reflexology communicates with the very “roots to wellness”, our feet are the very basis of our axis.

Can Reflexology Help Me Physically?

Yes, Reflexology can help improve your physical well being. Modern lifestyles don’t always create optimal conditions for physical wellness. Poor diet, lack of exercise, and an overabundance of environmental toxins can leave the body unbalanced and diminish energy levels.

From cleansing and weight management to supporting every system of the body, reflexology can provide the targeted solutions you need to restore balance and feel your best.

Used along with Essential Oils, reflexology can help you physically in many ways.

Can I Perform Reflexology At Home?

Yes, you can perform reflexology at home on yourself and family members. Use the Interactive Reflexology Hand and Foot Map below.

Note though, that some issues will require the help of a trained reflexologist. A professional may use different techniques of reflexology to treat certain body parts.

Enjoy experiencing reflexology with your friend and family. Professional help is available at my studio in Southern Maryland.
